A new update is planned for Sony’s next-generation gaming console, the PlayStation 5. Additionally, the DualSense controller will also undergo some enhancements. The new controller will feature a more powerful speaker and a microphone that better suppresses noise. The update is eagerly awaited by users of the console.
New features coming to PlayStation!
According to the initial leaks, players will now be able to use the emojis they want in their screen shares. Additionally, due to some users finding the power light of the console too bright, there will be a reduction in this light.
However, the most noticeable part of the update is regarding the DualSense controller, which controls the console. It was announced that the special version of the controller, DualSense Edge, will also benefit from this update. Hideaki Nishino, one of Sony’s senior executives, claimed that with the contribution of new artificial intelligence technologies, they will significantly enhance the user experience in controllers.
It is anticipated that the update will improve the performance of PlayStation users in competitive games. However, it was emphasized that users who do not like loud sounds or funny emojis will be able to easily disable these features.
The beta version of the new update will be tested by players who receive email invitations in countries such as the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France as of February 6. How the changes will be received remains a subject of curiosity.
